about
We wrote this song for three reasons. First, We want to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reform. Second, we would like the Pentecostal Church to pay attention to the story of a quite unknown historical figure and get rid of the claim of being direct descendants of ancient Christianity, pretending that in the last 1900 years nothing has happened. Third, we want to reflect on our roots in a Non-anticatholic way but wonder if it is possible to begin to heal the wound that the Protestant Reformation has done to the Western Church.
lyrics
How can a man face the power of nature?
How can a man change his destiny? His strife is pointless.
What are these fools and these thieves going to buy or sell? They are feeding a lie
Do they know that blood redeemed everything, no money could ever replace it?
On top of this tower nestled in the solitude, I reflect on your word
For centuries we have had it in front of us, but we were blind
On top of this tower nestled in the solitude, even here I am a sinner
My struggle against temptations is vain and tomorrow I won't be a better man
I just want to surrender to this love, to this endless justice
A church without borders, I just want to stand by You
Sola Scriptura
Sola Fide
Sola Gratia
Solus Christus
Soli Deo Gloria
Rapacious and murderous gangs, is this your gospel?
Furious dogs marching with raised fists
Liars going for bloodshed, stop this blasphemy
Princes and nobles, drown this riot in blood!
You cannot state a cause without a war
A sword can't be a pen, conflicts are necessary
You are reaping the seed that you sowed, is this your will?
Remember the highest good, mankind's not ready for peace

"Along The Sacred Path" is a concept album that traces the history of Christianity, continuing what was told in "Behold The
Mankind". The story is told through the life of some key figures that are not always considered positive by everyone. The main goal is to show how the Gospel message has spread in its original form, becoming the fabric of the modern Western society....more
